About Armin Petschner-Multari

Armin Petschner-Multari is Managing Director of TheRepublic. Born in Munich, he studied Political Science, International Relations, and European Studies in the United Kingdom and the Netherlands. After various roles in the private sector, he joined the CDU/CSU parliamentary group as an aide to Alexander Dobrindt before founding TheRepublic in 2021. He lives in Berlin and New York.

Achievements

Armin Petschner-Multari, born in 1989 in Munich, served in the Air Force before studying Political Science, International Relations, and European Studies in the United Kingdom and the Netherlands. He worked for the Munich Security Conference and later held various positions within the Christian Social Union (CSU), including Head of Digital Communications for its parliamentary group.

At the end of 2021, he founded the think tank TheRepublic, which is committed to renewing liberal-conservative politics. He is deeply engaged in the transatlantic partnership and promotes exchange and cooperation among center-right political actors worldwide by bringing together political leaders, academics, and business representatives.

Today, he not only leads his own think tank but also works as a political and communications consultant as well as a publicist. He lives with his husband in Berlin and New York, where he spends much of his time.
